The Graf von Schönborn forest management comprises a forest area of approximately 1600 hectares. The cultivation of pine trees and hardwood is carried out effectively in accordance with the location and nature. Valuable pine tree wood from our traditional and continued nachhaltig is processed in our own sawmill. Moreover trunk woods, saw log sections, pallet and industry woods are provided to the wood processing industry as well as firewood to local customers.

Besides the aspect of the effectiveness in the forest cultivation, the Graf von Schönborn forestry is distinguished by the basic principle "forest comes before deer".

For years we have been falling trees in accordance with the moon phases. This “moon wood” is distinguished by its processing abilities and its durability. Above all high quality oak wood from the Graf von Schönborn forests is manufactured into superior floorboards.
