Schloss Weißenstein in Pommersfelden is open to the public from April to October and offers a fascinating glance behind the sturdy walls of a Baroque castle. The 300 year old building has remained almost fully intact, despite the turbulences of history, and provides a virtually authentic glimpse of life in Baroque times. The guided tour takes you through magnificent stately rooms and past a wide range of different artwork.
Guided tours of the palace are available daily, between 10 am and 5 pm (last tour begins at 4 pm). Each tour takes roughly an hour and includes the stairwell, the shell grotto, the marble hall, the art galleries with their wealth of paintings, the mirrored cabinet, the bedrooms, study and dining room. For security purposes, each tour is limited to a total of 40 persons. Special tours and tours in foreign languages can be arranged on request (also available from November to March).

Since 2002, the castle also features a souvenir shop and provides a host of information material in the extended entrance area.
